Horngacher went to the Polish coaches after the Stoch firecracker. Doleżal’s eloquent reaction

on Sunday he started the struggle in Oslo with a very unsuccessful prologue. The Pole barely made it to the competition and even before the competition, he actually lost his chance to be on the podium in the Raw Air tournament. In the first series, however, we saw perhaps the best jump

In difficult conditions (especially in the first phase of the flight) he flew 129.5 meters and the judges assessed this jump as 58 points for style. In fact, the Norwegian judge even gave the Pole a dream score, i.e. twenty points. The jump jumped in the back with a light wind and had added points, so the next rivals who were already jumping into the skis with the wind had huge problems ahead of the Pole. Ultimately, Stoch was in the lead after the first round and was 1.6 points ahead of Stefan Kraft (131.5 meters).

Horngacher went to the Polish coaches after Stoch’s jump

Right after the jump, the cameras showed how satisfied Grzegorz Sobczyk and Michał Doleżal were leaving the starting position for the jumpers. However, their path was crossed by … Stefan Horngacher, who recently had a lot of doubts about our equipment. And before the Olympics, he caused a powerful storm by officially protesting on our shoes.

This time, Horngacher had no complaints, and … congratulated Grzegorz Sobczyk on a very successful attempt. He reached out to him and shook it wholeheartedly. Interestingly, initially Michal Doleżal did not even look at Horngacher. And let’s remind you that they were both close friends when Horngacher was our coach. However, it’s no secret that their relationship has become much cooler this season.

A massive drop in the second series

The joy of the Polish coaches did not last long, because in the second round Stoch did not make a jump. Our jumper needed about 130 meters to win the Sunday competition and for the first time in history to win in Oslo. Unfortunately, just after leaving the threshold, you could see how the jumpers in the air collided skis, which must have lost a lot of speed. In addition, Stoch probably climbed too high and began to fall quickly. In the end, he only flew 118 meters and fell to … 15. place.
