Lotten Kopecky and Tadej Pogacar win the Strade-Bianche

In the men’s race, the Spanish Alexander Valverde finished second in the race Strade-Bianche (Italy) just behind the slovenian Tadej Pogacar, double Tour de France champion, who imposed his pace in the last 50 kilometers and achieved an advantage of more than half a minute over his two main pursuers.

The classic transalpine already has a new champion. Pogacar signed his name for the first time in this Italian journey and was crowned champion after almost five hours of travel. Pello Bilbao (Bahrain – Victorious)the best Basque cyclist, arrived at 1:09 occupying the fifth place.

In female category the group of favorites arrived together with the last kilometers where only Lotten Kopecky (Team SD Worx) was able to respond to the heavy attack from Annemie Van Vleuten (Movistar) and beat her in a very close sprint.
