the slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma) and the Colombian Nairo Quintana (Arkèa Samsic) are called to star in a duel in style in the 80th edition of the Paris Nicewhich will take place from this Sunday until the 13th, the “Race of the Sun”, with luxury participation that will share the limelight next week with the Tirreno Adriatico, the “Race of the two seas”.

The route of the 80th edition consists of eight stages It is varied and its key appointments are a 13.4 km time trial and three mountain stages, one of them -the 7th- ending at the Col de Turini, 14.9 km at an average gradient of 7.3 percent. The “Carrera del Sol” will offer opportunities for sprinters and adventurers, forming a route with incentives for all cyclists.

In total, it will be 1,196.6 km, with 16,750 meters of positive elevation gain.
