Irish mixed martial artist (MMA) Conor McGregor spoke about a possible fight with Russian Islam Makhachev. His words are available in Twitter.
“I’ll beat that shitty Macchavic, don’t worry. Any day or night. It’s just a pity,” said McGregor, deliberately distorting the name of the Russian. He noted that he would return to the octagon the same as before. “Anyone. At any weight. Anywhere. The industry is full of such shitty spots, ”said the Irishman.
On February 27, Makhachev defeated American Bobby Green ahead of schedule at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in Las Vegas. The Russian won the tenth fight in a row in the organization.
McGregor is a former two-weight UFC champion. In the summer of 2021, he was injured in a duel with Dustin Poirier. The Irishman broke his leg at the end of the first round and could not continue the fight. Since then, McGregor has continued to recover.
