Head coach of “Zenith” Sergey Semak commented on the departure from the club of the former defender of the national team of Ukraine Yaroslav Rakitsky. It is reported by Sport24.
The specialist noted that he was grateful to the 32-year-old defense player for three years of work. Semak emphasized that Rakitsky played a big role in achieving the team’s results during this time.
Earlier on March 3, it was reported that Krasnodar had suspended contracts with several legionnaires of the club at once. On the website of the bulls, they emphasized that the athletes left the Krasnodar location and would keep fit on their own.
On March 2, it became known that Rakitsky’s contract was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties. The Ukrainian footballer joined Zenit in 2019. This season, he has 23 matches in all competitions, in which he scored two goals and made six assists.
