Club Diana Quintana reaches title in the National Swimming Championship, held in Guayaquil | Other Sports | sports

With 985 points, the Diana Quintana Club (CDQ) reached the title of National Swimming Championship, Carlos Luis Gilbert, which took place in the Alberto Vallarino pool of the Sports Federation of Guayas.

In the four days of competition, the Guayaquil representation dominated most of the tests and left the second place for the club Educoach, from Pichincha, which completed 689 units; Meanwhile he Guayaquil Sporting Clubwith 489.5, finished in third place.

Results

In one of the endurance tests, the 400-meter freestyle, the winners by category were Elvira Espinosa, from the CDQ, and Alexander Padilla, who acted independently, in 12 years; Rafaela Coello, from Educoach, and Matías Alejandro, from CDQ, in 13-14 years; Danna Martínez, from Educoach, and Luis Jiménez, from CDQ, in 15-17; Joselyn Bermeo, from Tombemba, and Joseph Macías, from CDQ, in more than 18.

On the other hand, the last mixed relay tests, in the 400 meters combined, category of 12 years, the victory went to the CDQ with Mateo Bolaños, Ariel Torres, Elvira Espinosa and Analía Pinto.

In the 13-14 years, the victory corresponded to a group of independent swimmers like David Llerena, Emilio Tapia, Milena Sánchez and Taís Macías.

The 15-17 year old series was also dominated by the team of independents made up of Fausto Cifuentes, Pablo Castillo, Valeria Quispe and María Belén Guerrero.

In the 18+ division, the title went to the Educoach club, which had Dabria Sarango, Marco Herrera, Luiggi Burneo and Tamia Sarango in the starting line-up.

At the end of the competition, the Guayaquil Sporting Club competed in the 800-meter relay with victory in the ladies, in the 12-year-olds, with Anahy Salazar, Irina Lucas, Luciana Piechestein and Kristel Cruz.

In the 13-14 years, the title was repeated by the Guayaquil Sporting Club team, represented by Kamila Ruiz, Daniela Gómez, Saskia Romero and Dayanna Plúa.

In the 15-17 years, the victory went to Diana Quintana with Norkis Valenzuela, Jazmín Jiménez, Luciana Román and Karla Baquerizo.

In boys, 12-year-old category, the victory went to the Educoach club, which had Juan Simba, José Maldonado, César Jaramillo and Emiliano Sarango in competition.

The 13-14 year old series left Guayaquil Sporting Club as the winner, with Cristhian Franco, Pablo Coello, Miguel Ibujez and Mario Granizo.

The Educoach club repeated the first place on the podium by winning in the 15-17 years due to the performance of Diego Ruales, Benjamín Vargas, Fidel Padilla and Ariel Troya. (D)
