Daniel Briz, the promise of Alicante motor racing and the fastest in Zuera

Last July 4 at the Zuera circuit, took place on Spanish Karting Championship, where the young promise of Alicante motorsport Daniel Briz he got the group pole, the general pole and won the first qualifying, in the senior category, but the water came out of the radiator and he did not give the weight.

But bad luck took hold of him. In the first race after qualifying he was 32nd and already at the start he advanced 15 positions, finishing in position 14, thus advancing 18 positions.

In the second race, on the fifth lap he was already in fifth place, it was then that his engine seized up and he had to abandon. With these results, the Alicante runner continues to be in the top 10 overall of the Spanish championship in the absence of 4 races where he will fight until the end.

Daniel arrived at Zuera driven by his good results in Campillos and although the sensations in training were much better, Briz commented “I have gone out for everything but the different setbacks have not allowed me”.

Daniel will run the third round of the competition from September 10 to 12 in Recas, Toledo; and the fourth and last, from October 8 to 10 in Chiva, Valencia.

Despite his young age, the young talent from Alicante has an extensive honors of achievements. From 2014 a 2017 he got 22 podiums in 21 meetings, as well as the recognition of the Valencian and Catalan Federation for his results in 2015 and 2016. In the season 2017 rose like Spanish Karting Champion, in the cadet category, in addition to getting on the podium 10 times in 9 meetings and participating in international championships in the category of the WSK Champions Cup or the WSK Super Master Series. Between 2018 and 2020 He has participated in international championships such as the CIK-FIA European Championship, finishing 23rd, or the OKJ World Championship.
