Minnesota Wild Russian forward Kirill Kaprizov made an assist in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match against the Calgary Flames. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.

The Russian scored 64th point for performance in the season (24 goals and 40 assists) and caught up in this indicator with compatriot Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals. In the list of the league’s top scorers, the forwards share the eighth and ninth places.

Minnesota has 65 points in 51 games and is fourth in the Western Conference standings. Washington is in eighth position in the Eastern Conference with 65 points in 55 games.

Kaprizov made his NHL debut last January. In September 2021, the Russian signed a five-year contract worth $45 million with the club.
