Baskonia falls defeated against Maccabi (94-93) after caressing victory

Bitci Baskonia lost against Maccabi Tel-Aviv by one point (94-93) this tuesday the delayed game corresponding to the 19th day of the Euroleague and could not cut his streak. Those of Spahija offered a good image and caressed the victory.

After the break, the game was even. Neither team was able to open a gap on the scoreboard until the final stretch of the third quarter. Bitci Baskonia tied the match (61-61), from that moment on they were superior to the rival, and reached the last quarter with an advantage of six points (71-77).

The exchange of baskets favored Baskonia, but the offensive rebound and Ante Zizic brought Maccabi closer, who decided to play closer to the rim. The consecutive errors of the azulgranas left the game in a handkerchief. Wade Baldwin appeared, again, and the azulgranas extended the lead until 85-88 with 1:40 left in a heart-stopping finish. DiBartolomeo scored from three, Costello responded and Wilbekin froze the Baskonistas with a triple that made it 92-91 with 30 seconds left. Later, each team scored two points, and the win went to Maccabi (94-93).
