Viner-Usmanova appreciated two victories of Averina at the world championship

The head of the All-Russian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics Irina Viner-Usmanova called two victories of the Russian woman Dina Averina at the World Championships in Japan normal. Her words are quoted by RBC.

Viner said that Averina’s gold medals are not a guarantee of her participation in the Paris Olympics, since everything changes every day. At the same time, she stressed that the gymnast deserved praise for her performance. “Today she is great, she received the highest mark, which has never been at the world championships and the Olympics. This is very commendable. There is still a lot to come, ”- the head of the federation appreciated the performance of the ward.

Earlier on October 27, Dina Averina won two gold awards: in exercises with a hoop, the gymnast scored 27.750 points, and with a ball – 29.125 points. Thus, she became a 15-time world champion.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Dina Averina became the second in the individual all-around, losing to the Israeli Lina Ashram. In Russia, refereeing at the tournament was considered biased.
