Leeds is thrashed by Tottenham at home and lives drama in English

Leeds hosted Tottenham this Saturday, for the 27th round of the Premier League, and ended up booed. The Spurs applied a 4-0 rout, with goals from Matt Doherty, Kulusevski, Kane and Son, and moved up to seventh place with 42 points.

Bielsa’s men are bitter at the end of the table, in 15th position with 23 added. With this setback, the team already comes from three defeats in the tournament.

Now Leeds enters the field next Saturday, against Leicester. The team plays away from home at 9:30 am (Brasilia time). Tottenham, meanwhile, host Everton at 5 pm on March 7.

The game – Tottenham dominated the first half. Enjoying the game and feeling comfortable on the field, Antonio Conte’s men reached the goal with ease and went down to the locker rooms with a great advantage on the scoreboard. Despite Leeds waking up in the final minutes, they failed to swell the net once.

With less than ten minutes, Ryan Sessegnon made a beautiful move down the left and found a pass for Matt Doherty. The Spurs athlete appeared free, in good position, and sent it to the back of the net.

The team didn’t even finish celebrating and, at 15, extended the score. Dejan Kulusevski came out from the right, drove the ball down the left and no one opposed his advance. Shirt 21 found space and scored the second.

In an unfavorable climate, Leeds could not stop the opponent. After his defense tried to ward off the danger, Kane received it in the area and supported the plate, taking it from the goalkeeper, and leaving his in the duel.

In the second half, Leeds tried to aim correctly, but did not hit the goal at all. To make the score 4-0, Kane called Son up front and the South Korean closed the score.
