Legia Warszawa publishes a communiqué on Legia Tenis. “Will for further close cooperation”

“D. Mioduski has sold 100% of shares in Legia Tenis to his private company for PLN 5,000” – a banner with this content appeared on Żyleta, the stand of the most ardent Legia fans, during the league match with Warta Poznań (0: 1). The president of Legia reacted and made a statement on this matter through the club.

In it, the president of Legia suggested that the supporters’ banner contained false information that had been “deliberately misinterpreted”. “In order to simultaneously implement an ambitious management program of the complex and simultaneously implement multi-million investments, acquiring partners and external financing is required. This was the only reason for the formal transfer of Legia Tenis to another entity, in which, like in Legia Warszawa SA, I own 100 percent. In the public discussion it was deliberately misinterpreted as a sale to an external entity “- informed the president of Legia.

Commission for Sport, Recreation and Tourism of the City Council Warsaw unanimously adopted the position in which it expects the restoration of the ownership status of Legia Tenis and threatened Mioduski with a request to the President of Warsaw to terminate the lease of Legia’s courts. The deadline for the restoration of the ownership status has been set for March 7.
