Former defender of the Ukrainian national team Artem Fedetskiy in an interview with the YouTube channel “Pryama Chervona” said that he would never go to work in Russia.
“We will live well, badly – I will not go to Russia. And my son will not go to Russia to play football, he told me about it himself. I am not the kind of person who will kiss anybody for any money, ”the Ukrainian described his refusal in these words. He added that he received many calls from agents with offers to move to Russian clubs with a salary of two million rubles a year, but he turned them all down.
In April 2019, Fedetsky said that he refused to move to one of the Moscow clubs in the Russian championship. Then he said that a good financial offer will not make him “spread his legs and jerk.”
The 36-year-old Fedetskiy played for several Ukrainian clubs, and from 2016 to 2017 he defended the colors of the German “Darmstadt 98”. The defender has more than 50 matches for the Ukrainian national team.
