Paços opened the scoring in stoppage time in the first half. After a penalty scored by the referee, the Brazilian Denílson Pereira converted the charge and scored the first of the visitors.
In the second stage, Hélder Ferreira extended the score and decreed the triumph of Paços.
Paços Ferreira’s next commitment is against Porto, next Sunday. Belenenses faces Tondela, next Monday, in a duel at the bottom of the table.
