The Brazilian player Edson Fernando, who plays for Rukh Lviv, is very close to crossing the Polish border. Alongside other club players, the ex-Bahia midfielder has left Ukraine and is trying to escape Russian attacks.
On the way since Thursday night, everyone gave up traveling aboard a vehicle because of traffic. This Friday morning, Edson posted a photo walking with bags and suitcases on a highway.
“Following the walk on the Polish border. All good, thank God,” he wrote.
Then, he shared a post where he said that they managed to reach the border with Poland, but still haven’t crossed the border.
“Fernando has already managed to reach the Polish border, but has not yet managed to enter due to the number of people who are about to enter as well”, informs the publication.
The Brazilian was revealed by Bahia and headed to Ukraine at the end of January this year. Along with his teammates, Edson Fernando worked in Lviv, a city in the west of the country, on the opposite side of the border with Russia.
