On February 24, Estonian Kalev announced a similar decision. The club has been playing in the VTB United League since its foundation in 2008.
Clubs from Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Czech Republic, Finland and Georgia took part in the tournament at different times. After Kalev and Zelena Gura left the team, teams from Russia, Belarus (Tsmoki-Minsk) and Kazakhstan (Astana) remained in the VTB United League.
