Arsenal leaves behind, but gets the comeback against Wolverhampton in the English

Arsenal came out behind, but looked for a 2-1 comeback against Wolverhampton this Thursday, at the Emirates. The South Korean Hee-Chan opened the scoring for the visitors, after Gabriel Magalhães failed, but Pépé and Lacazette turned the duel. With the result, Arsenal is consolidated in fifth place, with 45 points. Wolves are seventh in the championship, with 41.

Arsenal started inattentive in the first half and was punished with Wolves’ goal in the 10th minute. The Brazilian Gabriel Magalhães tried to retreat to the goalkeeper and did not notice the arrival of Hwang Hee-Chan, who intercepted the pass, cleared Ramsdale and hit the empty net.

The equalizer came in the 37th minute of the second half, when Nketiah showed great vision of the game and found Nicolas Pépé in the penalty area. The Ivorian then protected the ball and hit it hard to level the score.

In addition, Lacazette’s star shone. After Pépé’s pass, the Frenchman hit a cross from inside the area and the ball still deflected into goalkeeper José Sá before dying in the back of the net.

Now, both teams remain focused on the Premier League. Arsenal visit Watford at Vicarage Road on 6 March. Wolves face West Ham at London’s Olympic Stadium this Sunday at the same time.
