O Sao Paulo showed support for Brazilian players who play in Ukraine this Thursday. The club sent a letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos França, and made itself available to help with humanitarian actions.
In a note published on its official website, Tricolor stated that athletes and their families are at risk and reinforced the importance that all Brazilians in this situation can be rescued safely.
Brazilians who play for Dynamo Kiev and Shakhtar Donetsk released a video earlierstating that they are in a hotel in Kiev, the Ukrainian capital. Among them is David Neres, ex-São Paulo.

This morning, Ukraine was bombed by Russia, under the command of President Vladimir Putin. Explosions were heard in the capital and elsewhere.
On the other hand, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proclaimed martial law, that is, in theory, laws and authorities are replaced by military laws and decisions are made by the heads of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
