Recopa Sudamericana: Palmeiras steals a field tie from Athletico Paranaense

Palmeiras stole a 2-2 draw from Athletico Paranaense this Wednesday in Curitiba (southern Brazil) in the first leg of the Recopa Sudamericana 2022, an elusive trophy for the two Brazilian teams.

In a game of limited emotions, typical of two clubs that bet on waiting for their rival, Verdao, of the Portuguese Abel Ferreira and winner of the last two editions of the Copa Libertadores, he rescued a point in extremis with a penalty goal by Raphael Veiga (90+7 minutes).
