Annoyed by the performance of a referee, the German tennis player Alexander Zverev hit his racket against the judge’s chair at the end of a doubles match in the second round of the Mexican Open of Tennis-2022 that is played in the spa of acapulco.
On Tuesday, Zverev and his partner Marcelo Melo from Brazil they lost to the binomial made up of the British Lloyd Glasspool and the Finn Harri Heliovaara which was won in three sets with partials of 6-2, 4-6 and 10-6.
Annoyed by the judge’s decisions, at the end of the match Zverev approached him and with the racket he repeatedly hit the base of the chairas can be seen in a video circulating on social networks.

The second blow was about to hit the judge’s right foot. Zverev sat down for a few moments on his bench and got up again to address the referee and shouting at him and to give a new racket blow to his chair.
Due to his attitude, the German tennis player was reproved with whistles from the fans and the organization announced his disqualification. (D)
