These are the matches for today, February 23, in the Copa Libertadores 2022

Phase two of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores playoff continues on the afternoon of this Wednesday, February 23, with four matches, including those between Universidad Católica de Quito and Barcelona SC.

The Catholic University will visit Bolívar from La Paz (Bolivia) in a scenario in which no Ecuadorian has won. While Barcelona SC will host Universitario de Deportes at its Monumental Banco Pichincha stadium.

The Barcelona players arrive after draws (1-1) and (0-0) against Montevideo City Torque, but they beat them in the penalty shootout, thanks to an excellent performance by their goalkeeper Javier Burrai.

Another of the games that stands out is the debut of the Brazilian América Mineiro in this tournament, to become the 29th team from that country to play in a Copa Libertadores.

For its part, Guaraní attends its eighth Copa Libertadores in the last nine years.

The match between the Chilean Audax Italiano against the historic Estudiantes de La Plata also stands out in the programming.

Los Australes have only lost one game out of seven played at home in this type of tournament. They have five wins, one draw and one loss, while the Argentines have never been eliminated when they played preliminary stages.
