Former Khimki coach takes charge of the club for the third time

The new head coach of the Khimki football club near Moscow has become known. This was reported on the team’s website.

After the dismissal of Igor Cherevchenko, Sergey Yuran was appointed the head of Khimki. The specialist signed a contract with the club and joined the team at the training camp in Turkey.

Juran for the third time headed the club near Moscow. In 2008, under his leadership, the team was able to retain its place in the Russian Premier League (RPL). However, the specialist was fired due to the end of the contract.

In 2020, Juran returned to the club. Under his leadership, the team won a ticket to the RPL and became the silver medalist of the Russian Cup. After that, the specialist left his post. According to him, such a decision was made by the club’s management at the direction of the general director of the Moscow “Spartak” Shamil Gazizov. The Khimki players wrote a letter to Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow Region, in defense of the coach, but this did not change anything.
