President of the Russian Hockey Federation (RHF) Vladislav Tretyak called the skier Alexander Bolshunov the main character of the Beijing Olympics. His words are quoted by TASS.
“In skiing, we have always had examples at the Olympics. And Alexander Bolshunov is a hero of heroes. He is a man from God, ”said Tretiak. The head of the FHR noted that rarely anyone manages to win five medals within the framework of one Games.
On February 20, three-time Olympic champion, and now a State Duma deputy, Irina Rodnina spoke about the main character of the Beijing Olympics. She also believes that the skier Bolshunov, who won three gold, one silver and one bronze medals at the Games, deserves such a title.
