A scandal at the Polsat gala. The anthem of the Third Reich was played instead of Germany

Before the fight began, there was a huge scandal. As was the custom, the national anthems of both were played. The organizers, however, did not play the anthem, but the anthem of the Third Reich. This situation did not appeal to Mann’s corner, who immediately expressed his dissatisfaction.

The historical piece has survived to this day, but has undergone significant changes and has been sung from the third verse. In Wrocław, at the gala, it was played from the first verse. “Someone who played or rather checked the hymns to be played in the hall in Wrocław before the Jeżewski vs Mann fight should never do it again” – he wrote on Twitter. At the moment, he did not address all the confusion.

after the fight he did not hide his disappointment and had tears in his eyes. – Failure is never easy. Maybe let’s leave it like that – said the boxer in an interview with Polsat Sport.
