“Due to the appearance of a number of untrue information related to the complex at Myśliwiecka Street in Warsaw, I would like to inform you that I will immediately ask the authorities of the City of Warsaw to meet representatives of the City Council as soon as possible. We will present detailed information about Legia Tenis company and answer all questions regarding its activities, plans, financial aspects and formal issues. We will then release this information to the public, “the statement reads.

“Over the past years […] the facility was managed by various entities and formally had nothing to do with Legia. The quality and image of this beautiful place continued to deteriorate. Everyone could see the destruction progressing and decaying buildings. With each subsequent year, the number of people using the complex decreased. All this had a negative impact on the image of the City, and indirectly of Legia. We decided to take part in the process of selecting a new tenant. As a result of the process, the consent of the councilors of the Council of the Capital City of Warsaw, and then after more than 1.5 years of demanding negotiations, the City gained a committed and responsible partner for 30 years. From the end of April 2021, the tennis facility was leased from the City by the Legia Tenis company, which undertook to implement a comprehensive development program, professional management and comprehensive maintenance of the complex “- explains Mioduski.
