Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva returned to training after performing at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. A video with the athlete appeared on the account of the coaching group Eteri Tutberidze on Instagram.

Earlier, two-time Olympic champion, State Duma deputy Vyacheslav Fetisov spoke about the condition of Valieva, who returned to Moscow on February 18. “We talked to her before leaving the terminal. We had a good conversation, although at first she was a little alarmed. I told her that everyone here supports her, that she is not to blame for anything, ”he said.
Valieva failed to keep the lead after the short program and took fourth place in the individual figure skater tournament at the Beijing Games. The organizers refused to invite the Russian woman to demonstration performances.
Valieva became a participant in a doping scandal during the Beijing Olympics. Her test dated December 25, 2021 tested positive for the banned drug trimetazidine. The World Anti-Doping Agency and the International Olympic Committee sought to remove the figure skater, but the Court of Arbitration for Sport allowed Valieva to participate in the Games.
