The 28-year-old Russian fighter accused his opponent of cheating. He doesn’t believe Sterling actually had health problems.
“When people have neck pain, they don’t spar without protection. It’s just ridiculous, ”Jan said.
Ian will fight Corey Sandhagen at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in Abu Dhabi on October 30. Sterling refused to fight the Russian, citing health problems.
