Club Educoach, from Quito, seizes two titles in four open water tests held in Salinas | Other Sports | sports

The Educoach Swim Clubfrom Quito, obtained the title in the 5 and 7.5 kilometers ladies of the National Open Water Championship which takes place in Salinas, organized by the Ecuadorian Swimming Federation (FENA); the other tests were won Guayaquil Sporting Club and the club Jose Marcos Zambrano from Manabi.

On the first day of the tournament, which will be part of the technical check-up to participate in the XII South American Championship of the specialty, which will take place next March, in Assumption, Karen Rafaela Coello he prevailed in the 5 kilometers by marking 1 hour, 2 minutes, 28 seconds and 62 hundredths; second place went to Tais Dasha Macias, from the Oro y Grana club, which recorded 1 hour, 2 minutes, 31 seconds and 79 hundredths; while the bronze medal went to Anna Paula Moralesfrom Macro Swim Club, with a time of 1 hour, 2 minutes, 41 seconds and 30 hundredths.

Meanwhile, in the men’s event the winner was Mario Hail, from the Guayaquil Sporting Club, who reached the goal by marking 1 hour, 1 minute, 49 seconds and 78 hundredths. The second box was occupied Maximum Arthur Granda, from Orense SC, which clocked 1 hour, 2 minutes, 1 second and 68 hundredths; while Alfredo Nicolas Eguezfrom the Jorge Delgado club, finished third with 1 hour, 5 minutes, 6 seconds and 75 hundredths.

In the distance of 7.5 kilometers, the victory corresponded to danna martinez, by Educoach, who clocked 1 hour, 32 minutes, 26 seconds and 72 hundredths; the second place was occupied by isabella babbitt, from the Hermanos Enderica club, who scored 1 hour, 33 minutes, 44 seconds, 47 hundredths; the bronze medal went to Paula Sofia Guevarafrom Tomebamba, with 1 hour, 38 minutes, 35 seconds and 83 hundredths.

In the men’s test, of 7.5 kilometers, the victory went to Juan Enrique Alcivar, from the José Marcos Zambrano club, who recorded 1 hour, 27 minutes, 9 seconds and 61 hundredths; the silver medal was hung Vincent Fidel Padilla, of the Educoach, with 1 hour, 28 minutes, 9 seconds and 28 hundredths; while the bronze was hung Juan Toralfrom the Hermanos Enderica club, with 1 hour, 33 minutes, 4 seconds and 18 hundredths.

This Friday the competition was fulfilled in the 10 and 1.5 kilometers. (D)
