Czuwaj Przemyśl is a club that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018. It used to have over 10 sections, including boxing, hockey, basketball, swimming, archery and a motorcycle section. However, football was always the most important thing in it.
And it is only she that has remained with the club in the last dozen or so years. All because of statutory changes, transformations and great financial problems. In recent years, the Czuwaj Wiaro Przemyśl association was responsible for the functioning of the club.
– Country clubs are better financially than we are. We have a few players who know how to play but lack luck and confidence. We must maintain the fifth league – this is the coach, activist, former football player of the club, Zbigniew Kowal.

The situation of the club, however, did not change. In the current season, Czuwaj Przemyśl was last in the Jarosław group after the autumn district class round. After 17 matches, the team only scored 10 points.
Everything indicates that the team will not join the spring round. On Thursday, after the general meeting of the board of Czuwaj Wiaro Przemyśl, a decision was made to liquidate the club.
The club’s fans have doubts as to the legality of the decision. “The general meeting of the Czuwaj Wiaro Association today adopted a resolution to liquidate the club. The general meeting was convened illegally, club members were not allowed to participate in the meeting, many irregularities …” – we read on their Facebook.
The greatest success in the history of the club are two seasons spent on the second level of the game. This took place in 1950 and in the 1997/98 season. In the 1976/1977 and 1978/1979 seasons he also played in the 1/16 finals of the Polish Cup.
