He stressed that the Russian team had to restructure the preparation for the tournament, but the players managed to adapt to Beijing conditions.
Teams USA and Canada flew out in the quarterfinals of the Olympic tournament. The Americans lost to Slovakia in the post-match shootout with a score of 2:3, while the Canadians lost to Sweden with a score of 0:2.
The Russian team in the quarterfinals broke the resistance of the Danish team. Domestic hockey players outplayed rivals with a score of 3:1. In the semi-finals, the team will play with Sweden.
