The National Cycling Championship of Ecuador will begin this Friday with an individual time trial that will take place in the circuit located in La Mitad del Mundo and in which the participation of the stellar Richard Carapaz stands out.
The competition will also have another 100 cyclists from the country in different categories competing for the scepter.

Quote starts this Friday, February 18, 2022, at 9:00, on the Manuel Córdova Galarza and San Martín highway, with the elite men’s event four laps from the circuit (38.2 km). While in the Sub 23 branch they will run three laps (28.6 km).
For their part, the elite ladies will travel three laps (28.6 km), as will the Sub 23.
The route consists of 163 km north of Quito, after 17 laps that the peloton must complete.
The participation of Richard Carapaz was announced this Wednesday by the Ecuadorian Cycling Federation. The competition will also be animated by other stars such as Jorge Montenegro, current champion Alexander Cepeda, Jonathan Caicedo and Steven Haro.
It is confirmed that the Ecuadorian cyclist will run both in the time trial and on the route on Sunday.
