Guayaquil-born Emiliano Linares, who is shaping up to be the second Ecuadorian to compete for a place in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) mixed martial arts company from the Dana White’s Contender Series program, arrived in Mexico City on Thursday to continue his training at the Bonebreakers academy, with a view to defending his 145-pound Budo Sento Championship. Hours before the passenger Michael Morales headed to Tijuana, although the welterweight published this afternoon on his Instagram account that he was in transit in Miami, United States.
The account of the businessman Julio Molina gave an account of Linares’ arrival in Mexican lands through a photograph in the company of his teacher, Augusto dodger Montano.

Both fighters traveled to Mexico with the task of preparing for their next challenges in MMA.
Linares is expected to defend his Budo Sento welterweight division crown in May of this year against a contender to be defined. After this, the fighter from Buenos Aires will follow the instructions of the American promoter Alex Davis.
Morales, for his part, will rejoin the discipline of the Entram Gym, in Tijuana, after the training base he completed in 2021 in that city bordering the United States with a view to his premiere in the UFC.
In an interview with EL UNIVERSO, Morales confessed that he sees the Kazakh Shavkat Rakhmonov, who has a 15-0 record, as a possible rival.
On February 25, in the same Tijuana, the Guayaquil bantamweight Adrián Luna Martinetti will return to the scene, in a duel for the championship of that division of the Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico (UWC) company at the UWC 31 event. (D)
