And occasionally, because Darek did not appear at them very much. And in private, I didn’t know him at all. I still don’t know him well, and I don’t really understand it all. And when I don’t understand something or don’t know someone, I try not to say anything – Leśnodorski escaped.

– I really don’t know what to say. I have no idea what to advise him. I haven’t been to the club for a long time, many of these people I don’t know anymore. I don’t even go to matches and try not to comment on them, so as not to arouse additional emotions. I fail at this sometimes, but I try to stick to it. Besides, each of us can see that it is not going in the right direction. That it is probably not for him – added Leśnodorski.

For him, that is for Mioduski, who less than five years ago bought 40 percent from Leśnodorski and Maciej Wandzel. club shares. He became an independent owner, but also the president. And it is precisely Mioduski’s resignation from the position of president that the fans in the stands have been demanding for several months. – A long time ago, a year or two ago, I thought that Wojtek Pertkiewicz, who had just become president of Jagiellonia, would have done it much better – Leśnodorski indicated a better person for the position of president.

And later in the conversation, when he was asked about the chance that someone new will appear in Legia now, he replied straightforwardly – zero.

“We then made a classic logical error”

The fans, however, did not let go, they kept asking about Mioduski. For example, why, seeing with Wandzel before the 2016/17 season, that their relationship with Mioduski was deteriorating, they both did not take the risk to buy more than half of the club’s shares. – We then made a classic logical error. That is: we thought he was [Mioduski] is rational. That he cares about this club and is of greater value to him than anything else. Meanwhile, all the internal analyzes we had about his rational approach went to the head. In our opinion, he behaved completely irrational. The most important thing for him was to achieve the goal and become the leader of this project – said Leśnodorski.

Leśnodorski and Wandzel in March 2017 sold their shares in the club for about PLN 40 million. – We offered a price that seemed totally abstract to us. We thought a guy who invested fries here and gets 10 times more from us should be happy. That it is a lot for him. Meanwhile, he said “no” – said Leśnodorski.

– It was also a lot of money for us. For Maciek it was smaller, but for me it was a lot. You are now asking me about risky decisions in Legia that I supposedly made. It was this one that was the most risky. Not even in Legia, but in my life at all. It was precisely this making of an offer to Darek. I didn’t have that money. When I was in Legia, I didn’t work anywhere else. I neither earned nor put off. If it weren’t for Maciek and my partners, I wouldn’t have been able to cover it myself – admitted Leśnodorski.

Leśnodorski later revealed that Mioduski said that he did not pay much for Legia. That he talked about it himself and was convinced that he would just do it much better. That it would increase the value of the club.

– Can I tell a joke now? – he asked at one point one of the listeners, who was curious if the former president of Legia now maintains any contacts with Mioduski. – I am like the American government: I do not negotiate with terrorists – Leśnodorski laughed. – Seriously: we don’t talk because we have nothing to talk about. It’s not that there is any war between us, but he is in the Legion. And I will not go to him alone now, telling him and advising him: “Darek, do it differently”.
