American mixed martial artist (MMA) Aljamain Sterling boasted a new image. The athlete posted several photos on Instagram.
“I grew a Dagestan beard. Now I’ll eat and smear everyone! Aljambib Stermaev,” Sterling called himself. In 12 hours, the publication has collected more than 17 thousand likes. Users left more than a thousand comments, some agreed that the American is getting a new image.
Publications with similar text are often made by the Swedish MMA fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev. The athlete, known as the New Khabib, has repeatedly stated his desire to “eat and smear” rivals.
On February 4, the date of the second fight between Sterling and Russian MMA fighter Petr Yan was announced. Their meeting will be the main fight of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament on April 9th. The fight is declared as a title fight. Sterling will compete as the reigning UFC bantamweight champion, Yang as the interim champion.
Yan lost his UFC bantamweight title in March 2021 to Stergling. The Russian struck a forbidden blow and was disqualified.
