Legia Warsaw breaks an infamous record. There is no worse club

It was a nightmare evening for Legia Warszawa fans. The team failed again all along the line and lost at their own stadium to a direct rival in the fight for relegation – Wart ± Poznań 0: 1. The Sunday game was accompanied by a lot of emotions that could be felt both on the pitch and in the stands.

These were especially influenced by the players of the Legia, who clearly cannot cope with the pressure accompanying the fight for maintenance. He proved it with his behavior in the second half of the meeting. An experienced goalkeeper pushed David Szymonowicz in the penalty area, for which he received a red card and had to leave the field. The judge dictated the penalty, but Adam Zrelak did not use it.

The nightmarish situation of the Legia. A shameful record broken, and it could be even worse

The players tried to even out until the end of the match, but they could not even create too many favorable situations. Once Tomas Pekhart hit the goal seriously, but the ball did not go into the net. Aleksandar Vukovic’s team has already suffered their 14th defeat this season and has dropped to the 17th place in the table. However, she still has one match to be played, but the specter of relegation looks into her eyes more and more boldly.

Thanks to the defeat in Sunday’s match with Warta, the Legia team beat their infamous defeats in one season. Her worst result so far has been 13 losses in the 1936 and 1975/76 seasons. Now there are one more of them, and we are only 21 queues behind us. This is currently the worst result in, but also for the whole central level. Only the second-tier Sokół Ostróda has had just as many defeats. Everything indicates that the inhabitants of Warsaw will continue to bolster this historic result.
