Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva was included in the list of participants who will present short programs in the individual competitions at the Olympic Games (OI) in Beijing, on the morning of February 13, she received a starting number. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”

The draw started at 10:30 Beijing time (05:30 Moscow time) at the Capital Indoor Stadium. There are 30 skaters on the list of participants. Russia is represented by Valieva, as well as figure skaters Anna Shcherbakova and Alexandra Trusova.

On February 11, the International Testing Agency officially confirmed that Valieva’s December 25 doping test tested positive for the banned trimetazidine. After that, the World Anti-Doping Agency and the International Olympic Committee filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport against the decision to lift the temporary suspension from the 2022 Olympic Games Valieva.
