On Saturday, the next individual competition of the Olympic Games in Beijing will take place. This time the jumpers will compete on the large hill (HS140). The Poles in the upcoming competition will be composed of four people: Kamil Stoch, Piotr ¯y³a, Dawid Kubacki and Paweł Wąsek. All four made it through Friday’s qualifying without any problems.
These were mainly won by the Norwegians, who took the first two places and seem to be the clear favorites of Saturday’s competition. The best one was Marius Lindvik, who jumped up to 135 meters. It was placed just behind him (133.5 m). The third place went to Slovene Peter Prevc (131 m).
The Poles did average. He did the best, who jumped 128 meters and was the only one in the top ten (8th place). – I am glad that I gave such a jump today, I showed that I can do good jumps. Although, of course, this is not the peak of my abilities and dreams, it was a solid jump, with which I am happy – said the three-time Olympic champion after his Friday rehearsal.

The second individual competition of the Olympic Games on the large hill in Zhangjiakou will be held on Saturday 12 February. Its start is scheduled for 12:00. The trial series will start at 11:00.
