Baskonia concedes its fourth consecutive loss in the Euroleague

Bitci Baskonia conceded its fourth consecutive loss in the Euroleague after fall this Thursday at the hands of AX Armani Exchange Milan (89-78) at the Mediolanum Forum on the 26th day of the regular phase.

The start of the match was not good for Baskonia, since the local team endorsed it 8-2. However, the team from Vitoria managed to reduce their deficit (8-5 and 11-8), but in the final stretch of the first quarter, Milan opened a gap on the scoreboard (21-10).

Neven Spahija’s men managed to close the gap at the start of the second quarter (24-17), but when the local team was in trouble, the triples gave them air again. Based on triples, Armani Milan reaped a 15-point advantage when reaching relegation (40-25).

Baskonia tried to make up the score in the last round and finally succeeded, although the final result was a defeat by 89-78.
