Tarasova called the United States a lair of the enemy after the performance of Russian skaters

Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova spoke about the performance of Russian figure skaters at the stage of the US Grand Prix in Las Vegas. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Tarasova declared her pride in the athletes due to the fact that they took the first three places in the short program. “Neither American, nor Canadian, nor Japanese, but our girls. The first in the den. In the enemy’s lair. We are always in the den. Everyone is in different countries, and we are in a den, ”she stressed.

The short program for women at the US Grand Prix was held on the night of October 24. Russian figure skaters Alexandra Trusova, Daria Usacheva and Ksenia Sinitsyna took the first three places. Trusova received 77.69 points for the rental and set a personal record. She jumped a double axel, a triple flip, a triple lutz – a triple toe loop in a cascade.

The skater’s free program will be shown on the night of October 24-25. The broadcast will begin at 23:02 Moscow time.
