The Euskaltel-Euskadi will premiere its international calendar for the 2022 season in the Oman Toura six-stage race that will be held in the Asian country between this Thursday, the 10th, and Tuesday the 15th, in which the Basque team is taking part for the first time.

From the orange squad they highlight that the route of this Tour of Oman presents “three stages for sprinters, two more leg-breaking days” and a decisive stage, the fifth, ending in the Green Mountainan ascent of 5.7 kilometers at 10.5%.
“We brought a balanced group to a high-level race with a varied route. I have confidence in Angulo and Irizar to fight in stages and I think that Bou and Canal can be ahead in the general classification. Peio will be a good asset for breakaways”, highlights the sports director of Euskaltel, Jorge Azanza.
