The choreographer of the group of the Russian figure skating coach Eteri Tutberidze, Alexei Zheleznyakov, reacted to the situation around the suspicious doping test of one of the skaters of the Russian national team at the Beijing Olympics. He wrote about this on Facebook.
Zheleznyakov noted that he did not believe that anyone from the domestic team could violate anti-doping rules. “The guys took samples before the competition, most likely when they arrived and after the performances. We sat in the hotel without getting out, and now they suddenly found something, just after the gold, ”the group’s choreographer considered.

On February 9, Inside the Games reported that the Russian figure skater, who competed in the team tournament, passed a dubious test before the Olympics. In this regard, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) held legal consultations with the International Skating Union (ISU) and postponed the awards ceremony.
