Ronaldo repeats his 2010 anti-record

Portuguese striker Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo repeated his anti-record in 2010. It is reported by Sky Sports Statto in Twitter.

The footballer repeated his worst goalless streak. In five games in a row, Ronaldo has failed to hit the opponents’ goal. He last scored against Burnley on 30 December 2021.

The last time such a series without goals happened in 2010. Then the footballer played for Real Madrid and also could not score in five games from May to September.

On February 9, Manchester United played in the match of the 24th round of the English Premier League (EPL) with Burnley. The meeting ended with the score 1:1. The Portuguese started the game on the bench and entered the field in the 68th minute.

It was reported in January that Ronaldo threw a tantrum after Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick replaced him in the Premier League match against Brentford. The football player threw the jacket handed to him on the ground and sat down on the step near the bench.

On January 20, it became known that Ronaldo could leave the English club if the team did not reach the Champions League. He intends to break the record of former Real Madrid player Francisco Gento, who won the tournament six times.
