The Russian athlete received 14.833 points from the judges for his performance. Exactly the same result was demonstrated by the Italian Salvatore Maresca, who will be awarded the second bronze.
Lan Xinyu from China won the gold medal with 15,200 points. Silver went to another representative of Italy, Marco Lodadio (14.866). For the 20-year-old Klimentyev, the world championship medal was the first in his career. He also won two European championships.
Earlier on Saturday, October 23, Russian gymnast Angelina Melnikova won the bronze medal of the world vault championship. The day before, she became the absolute world champion, having won the individual all-around.
