Pope got a T-shirt with Messi’s autograph

Pope Francis thanked the Argentine striker of the French Paris Saint-Germain Lionel Messi for the shirt of the Parisian team signed by the football player, writes Telam.

The T-shirt with the inscription “With great love” was presented to Francis by the Prime Minister of France Jean Casteks, who came to the Vatican on an official visit.

“Dear brother, thank you for the T-shirt you sent me, for your dedication and your simplicity. Thank you for your steadfastness. Stay the same. God bless you, you can always rely on me. I am glad that you are not arrogant, ”Francis said to the footballer.

Earlier, Messi’s double brought PSG victory in the Champions League match. The forward scored two goals in seven minutes, making the score 3-2 for PSG.

On August 10, PSG announced the signing of a contract with Lionel Messi. The agreement is valid until 2023. It is assumed that in the first year in the team, the footballer will earn 30 million euros. Over the next two years, Messi’s royalties will increase by ten million euros thanks to a loyalty bonus.
