The organizers of the Games responded to complaints about food in a quarantine hotel in Beijing

Press attache of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Sergey Averyanov said that the Chinese side responded to the athletes’ complaints about food in a quarantine hotel. He wrote about this in Telegram.

According to Averyanov, the host country was sympathetic to the complaints of the Russian biathlete Valeria Vasnetsova. He noticed that the food was changed: yogurt and salmon appeared for breakfast. Averyanov called it standard hotel food without frills. Averyanov also said that Vasnetsova should organize an exercise bike in the room to keep fit.

On February 4, the RRF addressed the International Olympic Committee (IOC) with a complaint about the food in the quarantine hotel. Earlier, Vasnetsova posted a photo of food on social networks and complained about health problems due to such a diet.

The Beijing Olympics will run until February 20.
