The Russian team defeated the Ukrainians with a score of 3:2 and made it to the final of the tournament. The Russians opened the score already in the second minute of the confrontation – Anton Sokolov scored. At the 15th minute Andrey Afanasiev doubled the advantage of the Russian team.
The Ukrainians responded with a blow from Yevgeny Sery. The third goal of the Russian national team was scored by Artem Niyazov, who managed to hit the opponent’s goal with a falling blow. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian footballers managed to close the gap in the score. Daniil Abakshin used a penetrating pass.
The Ukrainian national team could even equalize a minute before the end of the meeting. The kick from the penalty spot was saved by Russian goalkeeper Dmitry Putilov.
The final of the tournament will take place on February 6. Russia’s rival will be the winner of the confrontation between Spain and Portugal.
