Karpin named potential newcomers to the Russian national team

The head coach of the Russian national team Valery Karpin visited Turkish Belek, where Dynamo Moscow is training. The coach of the national team admitted that he is considering a number of candidates for the national team, TASS reports.

The 53-year-old specialist named potential newcomers to the national team. In particular, Karpin noted that he was considering the blue and white defender Dmitry Skopintsev. The coach stressed that the lateral is waiting for an invitation to the national team if he demonstrates a good game. Karpin also noted that he was following the performances of Vyacheslav Grulev.

Karpin noted that he follows the teams, where there are many candidates for the national team. Fedor Smolov, Daniil Fomin, Konstantin Tyukavin, Denis Makarov and Arsen Zakharyan perform at Dynamo.

Skopintsev, 24, has been playing for Dynamo since 2020. In the current draw of the Russian Premier League (RPL), he played 17 matches and scored one goal.
