As part of the actions of the UWC 30 event, to be held on Friday, November 26, the featherweight duel between the Ecuadorian Aarón Cañarte (7-0-0) and the Mexican Iván Maya (4-5-0) was confirmed ), announced this Friday the Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico (UWC) company in a press release.
During the 75th edition of the program UWC Total WarOn Thursday, the announcement was made and there will be an official confrontation for the agreed bout at 145 pounds.
“I am very excited to be back at UWC, almost a year without being in his cage, but in that time I have been active and adding triumphs. Now in a new division and ready for the challenge. I know Cañarte is a great fighter, in fact he was in the cage with one of my training partners (Alexander Barahona), and soon I will be in Sonora to close my camp for UWC 30, ″ commented Maya.
The Mexico City fighter, who is 4-5-0 in professional mixed martial arts, will be in the UWC cage for the third time.

The fight will be part of the main program of the evening that will be broadcast by UFC Fight Pass and will be three rounds, of five minutes each, and sanctioned by the Tijuana Boxing, Wrestling and AMM Commission.
The stellar duel of the night will be in welterweight, with Alfonso Leyva (4-0-0), from Guadalajara, Jalisco, against Alberto Galera (2-1-0), from Chetumal, Quintana Roo, in qualifying for the challenge with the championship.
Days ago, the debut of the Ecuadorian Javier Basurto (18 wins, 7 losses in professional MMA), who has been training at Entram Gym since last September, was also announced.
UWC 30 will be on Friday, November 26 with a total of nine professional fights at the Entram Gym facilities, in Tijuana, Baja California, with programming starting at 5:00 p.m. local time (7:00 p.m. in Ecuador). The main event can be seen live on the platform of streaming UFC Fight Pass. (D)
