The Guayaquil martial artist arrived in the country last Sunday; reveals that his contract with Budo Sento Championship includes two additional fights.

In his first week in Ecuador, after winning the Budo Sento Championship champion belt on October 8 in Mexico, the martial artist Emiliano Linares appreciated that the national sports press this 2021 is spreading the news of the tricolor MMA fighters that at the beginning of the year they decided to emigrate to Mexico with the slogan of making the leap to the big leagues in the United States.

Linares, unlike the other nine Ecuadorian MMA exponents who traveled to the Aztec country to train and participate in events of different companies, is the only one who has won a championship title.

The Guayaquil-born man made history in the MMA main event of Budo Sento Vol. 4, in Mexico City, by winning by unanimous decision after five long rounds against local Eddy Alexis Rosaldo, in a duel for the 145-pound championship, and so on. become the first male champion in company history.

“I am very happy to have brought this joy to all of Ecuador, to all of Latin America, to all lovers of combat sports. The 21-year-old welterweight stated that his agent is analyzing various offers from promoters who followed the Ecuadorian’s performance in the Budo Sento Vol. 4 event. Any decision, however, Linares assured will be made in due course, without haste.

The brand new winner of Budo Sento. Vol 4 indicated that the contract he signed with Budo Sento Championship has two additional matches to be fulfilled. “There really is no worrying injury, what I have are small blows that I will be able to recover from and take out these days,” he added.

In his first week in Guayaquil since returning from Mexico City, Linares has begun working on sessions of grappling and physical preparation. Then, he says, he will resume the kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai, everything concerning the striking. (D)
