Cameroon striker provokes Salah

Cameroon striker Aboubakar made a controversial statement and made a provocation against Mohamed Salah, before the duel against Egypt in the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations, which takes place this Thursday, at 4 pm (Brasilia time).

“It doesn’t impress me much. If I was impressed, I would, but no. He’s a good player, he scores a lot, but he doesn’t give much to the game. Of course he does good things in the Premier League, but he’s also been there for a long time. I say it again, he’s a good player, but he’s not at the level of a Mbappé, for example”, said the Cameroonian player, reinforcing the provocation against Salah.

Aboubakar is the competition’s top scorer with six goals scored and is the main highlight of Cameroon – the host country of the African Cup -, while Salah, the target of the provocation, is one of the main names in the competition and has contributed to the good campaign of the Egyptians. He scored twice in the tournament and even provided an assist.

Certainly, the statement by the Cameroonian striker, who plays for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr, spiced up the match even more. The winner will face Senegal, by Sadio Mané, on Sunday, at 16:00 (Brasília time).
